I forgot to take my lunch today and I only had a snack bar. I am so hungry!! This causes us to over-eat. I’ll try to eat lots of veggies when I get off work to compensate for the missed meal.

Long time no post… This is only the beginning!
So… I started my eating clean experience without any notice. Sorry to my invisible crowd of followers on my blog. (sarcasm) It was at the spur of the moment. I went to buy groceries and began on March 1st.
On my first three days I juiced myself a smoothie (without milk) every morning with kale, spinach, mixed berries, and a banana. I ate breakfast, lunch, dinner, and two snacks daily. Almost every meal consisted of fruits or veggies. However, after the 3rd day I began to have diarrhea symptoms. I left my desk several times that day. I was feeling horrible. By the time I made it home from work at noon, I was feeling queasy and my diarrhea got worse.
Long story, short: I don’t know what caused this reaction. Maybe I consumed too much fiber? Maybe my body wasn’t used to all the foods I was eating? Maybe I got food poisoning? That is still a mystery to me. Even while I was sick for that day I remained faithful to my new lifestyle change. My mother brought me 100% whole wheat crackers and Powerade. So I am gradually beginning to eat veggies and fruit more often. Yesterday I got a little sick while at work and I came home feeling queasy again. This time no diarrhea but I did vomit my lunch.
I am not giving up yet. I am still committed to this trial month of dieting. I lost 5 pounds in 3 days after my body expelled all the food I had consumed. It was almost as if I had a natural laxative and cleansing.
So far, this is day 11 and I do not feel great. I take multivitamins, drink water, consume a diet of protein, fruits, and veggies. I do not feel a burst of energy. Dieting is no fun. By the way, I turned down O’Charleys for dinner one night, cake, and a lot of things I have been missing. I’m glad to say that I don’t miss soda. I’m praying for better days. Stay tuned!
